Bunnies and Kitchen Sinks!

Coey had his spring concert at school on Thursday night. All of the kindergartners were supposed to dress like bunnies because they were singing a bunny song. You should have seen some of the costumes. Most parents just put on bunny ears and painted their kids faces. However, a couple of the parents went a little crazy. One little boy was in a white version of the bunny from A Christmas Story, I felt pretty bad for him. Another little girl was completely decked out in toole (or however you spell it) and looked like she should have been on Broadway instead of a school concert. I had fun watching Coey and loved the fact that it was only about 30 minutes long. I made me really sad to think that he is going to be leaving that school soon. The teachers have been great and they genuinely have everyone best interest at heart and it makes me sad to think he won't be able to continue there. Afterwards we went to Angies to "clean the sink." I hadn't been feeling well and nobody had eaten dinner yet so we decided to eat dinner before we tried to scarf down an obscene amount of ice cream. Needless to say by the time it arrived no one was very hungry so we only ate half. It was still fun and they kids thought it was great.

Random Events

We went down to Salt Lake City on the FrontRunner to go to the planetarium and then went and ate at Crown Burger. So good but we picked a bad time to go since it was right before a Jazz game and it was super crowded!!!

I watched my nephews the other day and for some reason poor little Sethie just doesn't like being there without his parents. He's good for a little while and then gets upset. So I took him and Morgan in her bedroom and the only way I could get him to calm down was to play dress up. Here are him and Morgan hanging out in her toybox.

The grandparents and some of their grandkids. My brother in law Dave's sister Amber took these pictures. She is so talented!

Morgie and her big cousin Sophia. So cute!

Trip to visit the Great Grandparents

We went down to Spanish Fork to visit the Great Grandparents and pick up some furniture that Grandpa Coey made for us. I will post pictures of these pieces once I am done painting them.

In the backyard of Grandma and Grandpa Stickney. It was pretty cold but Morgan loved playing.

Christmas 2009

You know you haven't posted in a long time when you are just getting around to your Christmas pictures. For Christmas we went a little overboard like we normally do. We aren't huge on buying the kids lots of toys during the year so we kinda go crazy around Christmas. As you can see the kids got lots of good toys that sure are going to be fun to move in June when we pack up and head to Oklahoma.

I love this picture of my hot husband. You are sooooo good looking!

Morgan got lots of dress up stuff and loves to push her bear around in this stroller. When it's bed time and we can't find him that is normally where he is. Either that or the oven of the kitchen.

Coey loves hotwheels and especially these trick tracks. I have to admit we've bought a few more since Christmas and they are pretty fun to watch.

Cute Gift Idea

This is the super cute gift I gave to Coey's teachers. You take a soup can and open it through the bottom and leave the lid still attached. Clean it out and then fill it with goodies and seal the bottom with a hot glue gun. Remove the label, add some scrapbook paper and embellishments and VOILA! I filled these with chocolate covered pretzels and they turned out pretty cute If I do say so myself!

My New Craft

So I know I haven't posted in awhile but with Christmas fast approaching I have been doing tons of crafts to get ready for it. Not only are there gifts for certain loved ones but I also managed to squeeze in this super cute craft that will allow us to countdown to Santa's visit. I saw a countdown similar to this on the internet but decided to make a few changes. So hopefully this little post can tide you over until I can get back in the swing of things.

Morgie and Coeyster

This is Morgie.

She loves her mama and follows her everywhere, I mean everywhere. She loves to talk, dance and sing. Her favorite thing is to annoy her brother by walking in circles around him while he is watching t.v. She loves to be wherever Coey is and doing what he is doing. Her likes include: wearing shoes, reading books, anything Wall-E, baths, being outside, drawing on the doodle board, saying hi to people, chewing on Bryce's toothbrush, putting lotion on her hands, her bear and binkie, milk, cookies and animals.
This is Coeyster.

He likes include: playing with friends, legos, Lincoln Logs, riding his bike, anything Indiana Jones, staying the night with Grandma and Grandpa, playing with his cousins, chocolate milk, having super special snacks, cheese, smoothies, Wow Wow Wubbzy, the color pink, making people laugh, playing computer games, playing hide and seek, throwing tantrums, watching videos of himself, bowling, golfing and getting cookies at the "yellow" store.
I am so blessed to have these two amazing kids. Even though they constantly make me want to pull my hair out they are mine and I love them more than anyone ever could.
